A fabulous dessert for lovers of good ‘ol fashioned puddings. The marmalade adds that extra oomph!
1½ Cups Milk (¾ Pint)
2 Tblsp Sugar
1 Cup Sultanas
2 Slices Buttered Bread with Marmalade
Olive Oil Spray or Butter
8” Deep Pie Baking Dish
Heat oven to 180C. Grease pie baking dish with oil spray or butter.
Beat eggs, add milk and sugar. Continue beating until mixture is yellow and fluffy.
Add sultanas and stir through. Pour into the greased baking dish.
Cut the buttered bread with marmalade into finger strips and place on top of the mixture, butter and marmalade side down.
Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 35-40 minutes.
